DIGITAL STORYTELLING PROMPTS: PERSONAL NARRATIVE PROMPT IDEAS
These prompts are meant to assist the students in finding their own voice, and share the impact of the event, person, place, etc. on them and their lives. The most impactful Digital Stories are stories that come from the heart, and share a global message of love, hope, loss, accomplishment, endearment, reminiscence, etc, that audience members can connect to. That happens when the writer writes his or her story from the first person point of view, and connects the event or emotion to themselves.
Suggested Prompt
Tell a story of a hero or role model in your life.
Why are they important to you? What makes them a key part of your life? What would your life be like had you not known them?
